Spectators are welcome and admitted free of charge. This Easter Invitational ("Meet") is a two-day roller figure skating competition in Mesquite, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth) hosted by Broadway Skating Club and Broadway Skateland.

Eligibility

Entry is open to all (in good standing) member athletes of USA Roller Sports (USARS). All submissions will be vetted via USARS's site: Check Your Status. This meet will include adult events as well as Level A, B, and C standard events.

Official Practice

Spectators are welcome and admitted free of charge. Only athletes ($5/ea) are allowed on the surface during official practice (4-7 PM). Push off with Figures from 4-5 PM, roll into Dance 5-6 PM, and wrap up with Freestyle 6-7 PM.

Official Competition: April 8-9

Spectators are welcome and admitted free of charge on both Saturday & Sunday, April 8-9. When available, the Official Schedule will be uploaded here: #MesquiteTX2023.

Officials & Hosts

The Meet is managed by Broadway Skateland's two Host Operators, Lana Blocker and Jon Elliott, as well as Karlene Justice, who will serve in a hybrid role, as both its Meet Manager and as the Meet's Host Coach.

Official Sanction

The Meet's documentation states that an application for official sanction has been submitted and is currently awaiting approval from USARS. You can access USARS's Official Events here: USA Roller Sports.

FORMS, FEES & DEADLINES

All entry forms must be postmarked by Monday, March 13, 2023. Fees: 1st event is $25, then $18 for each additional event.
